We spent a gorgeous day at the beach in Seaside, Oregon last friday. The water was frigid (as always) and the wind blew in great gusts which made for terrific kite flying weather. After a picnic and lots of digging, exploring and general frolicking we enjoyed old-fashioned, pink cotton candy and the kids had a ride on the carousel... all together a most excellent day!
(I was a wee bit chilly, but I like it that way!)

ReplyDeleteI went to Seaside when I was waiting for Lexi to be born, but then her birthmom changed her mind...Being in Seaside on the beach was a very healing time for me.
It is a beautiful place, as is most of the Pacific Northwest. Where does Lexi's birthmom live?
