Update

The children and I are having a great time in Oregon, with the exception of being sick for several days. Their first airplane ride was a complete success and they made all our fellow travelers chuckle during takeoff when they giggled with sheer delight! I'm so glad they will all remember this experience together.
We are staying with my Mom-in-love on the same street where all our babies were born, needless to say it's been quite a trip down memory lane! This is the place where our important family beginnings happened so this trip is a goodbye of sorts. We haven't been able to see everyone we need to yet due to being sick, but we have been able to visit with several dear friends here and there and catch up with old neighbors. It is very strange to walk to the library with the kids now, I used to pull two in our little red wagon and carry the third in the baby back pack. We must have been quite a sight as the two little ones tried to keep books from falling overboard all the way home! Now I am the one trying to keep up with them as they run ahead of me through the quaint little university town. I remember a wise older mother telling me to cherish every moment of the early years because they will be over in the blink of an eye... boy was she right!
As we literally walk down memory lane here, we look forward to all the new memories we will be making during the next season of life.

Love Wins.

  2. I hope we can too, we're almost in the clear health-wise. This past week has been a battle against the early stages of bronchitis for the kiddos but I think we're conquering it. I'll get your number from J and give you a call on Sunday if that's okay. Thanks for the invite, it would be great to see y'all! BTW, the wise mother I mentioned in this post is your mama :-)

  3. You know I was wondering that. It sounds like her. Monday would be a great time to all get together but is by no means the only time. We do not want to be an additional source of stress so make your life work!

Get everybody healthy and we'll see you when we do!
