Talking Heads

A four-month investigation into the covert corporate influence on cable news has found that since 2007 at least seventy-five registered lobbyists, public relations representatives and corporate officials have repeatedly appeared on MSNBC, Fox News, CNN, CNBC and Fox Business Network with no disclosure that they are paid by corporate interests. Amy Goodman of Democracy Now spoke today with journalist Sebastian Jones, who carried out the investigation for The Nation magazine. This is so important to remember when viewing corporate-controlled news media. Please follow this link to Democracy Now to watch the interview or this link to The Nation for the original article. It's good to be informed or reminded that there are folks whose job it is to persuade public opinion.

Love Wins.
